Data Deletion Request

You can request deletion of your personal data or your entire Aqar Lagta account at any time. This page explains the available methods and what happens when we process your request. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes.

From this web page

Send us your registered mobile number and the data you want deleted. We will send confirmation, then process the request. We can verify your identity via an OTP to that number before processing.

In the agent app (fastest)

Open:

Settings
Privacy & Terms
Delete account

Then type "DELETE" to confirm. Your account is disabled immediately.

What we delete

Disable your account and log you out of all devices.
Delete your visible personal data (name, mobile number, city, bio, account photo).
Delete the listings you published, with their media.
Disconnect and revoke access tokens for linked social accounts (WhatsApp and Facebook).
Delete leads attributed to you, subject to legal obligations and the retention period.

Once you confirm your request, disabling starts immediately. Completing deletion of personal data from production systems takes up to 30 days. Some backups may take up to the standard deletion cycle (up to 60 additional days).

What we keep, and why

Data the law requires us to keep, such as accounting records.
Aggregated data that does not identify you.

Your data is never sold or shared for advertising purposes. Full details are in section 9 of our Privacy Policy.

Partial deletion

If you want to delete specific data only (such as your account photo or bio) without deleting the whole account, you can edit it directly in your in-app profile, or request it with the form or by email, specifying the data to delete.
